BSc/MSc interns and project students

Check out our previous bachelor or master thesis topics. Please note that the lab is at capacity and we are not accepting applications at the moment, please check back in a few months and contact us to see if we have new capacity.

Please do not email us. We generally only support ThinkSwiss applications for previous interns/collaborators.

PhD applicants

We are always looking for highly talented and motivated students. Any available doctoral student vacancy will be listed on our vacancies page.

If you want to apply for a Swiss Government Excellence scholarship you need to have a convincing topic, a strong proposal and CV that links to the group’s research activities, before emailing Florina Ciorba. 

If you are a holder of any other scholarship/fellowship/stipend/self-funded, email Florina Ciorba directly with your CV, with a convincing clarification of your interest in conducting your PhD with her and in her group.

Postdocs

Please email Florina Ciorba directly with your CV, cc’ing Yvonne Walser. Consider applying to postdoctoral fellowships from SNSF, Marie Curie, and an ERC or SNSF Starting Grant. We can currently only consider postdocs who come with their own funding.
