HPC GROUP HAS A NEW CLUSTER

The HPC group has acquired a new cluster computing system from DALCO.

The system, called miniHPC, is based on latest technology from Intelconsisting of 22 compute nodes, a login node, and a storage node each featuring 2 x Intel Xeon E5-2640 v4 processors, interconnected with the latest 100 Gb/s Intel Omni-Path architecture, and delivering a compute rate of 16,896 GFlop/s.

Happy computing ahead!
